The Manager on Duty serves as the center supervisor during scheduled shifts. The position is responsible for overseeing the operation of the facility during operating hours and for opening and closing procedures. It includes the supervision all Front Desk operations and systems including computers, photo station, cash drawer, credit card terminals and multi-line phone system. The MOD ensures the delivery of high level customer service and provides support and oversight of activity areas, locker rooms, special events and programming within May Center venues. The MOD serves as the primary communicator with the management team and as the lead manager in emergency response situations. The MOD is also responsible for supervising all fee collections, financial transactions, and membership or facility issues that occur during scheduled shifts.
This position is for 16 hours a week, on Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 4pm; with a one hour meal break.
