The Front Desk Manager, will serve as the manager-on-duty during a scheduled shift. The position is responsible for overseeing the operation of the facility. It includes the supervision all Front Desk staff and systems including computers, photo station, cash drawer, credit card terminals and multi-line phone system.
The Front Desk Manager is also responsible for supervising all fee collections, financial transactions and membership or facility issues that occur during scheduled shifts. Shift responsibilities will also include either overseeing the opening or closing of the fitness facility.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office. High school Diploma required. Minimum of three years management experience ideal but not required with previous fitness or hospital administration or hotel/spa management experience a plus. CPR/AED/1st Aid certification required.
This position is for 16 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 4pm with a 1 hour unpaid meal break.
