The Director of the Israel Center will provide strategic vision, intellectual leadership, and operational oversight for a flagship initiative engaging Israel’s history, culture, challenges, and triumphs with nuance and honesty.
The Israel Center will bring clarity, sophistication, and depth to the understanding of modern Israel for Jewish and broader audiences alike. The Director will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing high-level programming that reflects a range of perspectives consistent with 92NY’s Israel policies, while fostering serious, thoughtful engagement around complex and often sensitive issues.

This role requires a dynamic leader who combines subject-matter expertise with program-building skill, public presence, and the ability to cultivate partnerships across cultural, academic, civic, and philanthropic communities.
The Director will be responsible for the conceptualization and execution of the following categories of activity, aligned with the strategic vision of the Bronfman Center.

Compensation Range
$110K - $125K
The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
