The development team is a dynamic group of highly skilled, goal-focused individuals who, alongside program partners, continue to achieve fundraising success by finding creative and unique ways to inspire support across the organization.   Position Summary Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and working in close collaboration with the CEO and the President, the Director of Principal Gifts will be an integral member of the development team and help to build upon 92NY's robust culture of philanthropy, expanding the donor base and engaging the highest capacity prospects in 92NY's mission in meaningful and compelling ways.  A proven frontline fundraiser with extensive experience soliciting six- and seven-figure gifts, the Director will be responsible for developing a portfolio of donor prospects, building strong relationships, and generating appropriate proposals and asks that result in increased and new restricted and unrestricted support.  In addition, they will work closely with the CEO and the President, leveraging their time and fundraising talent for maximum results.

The Afterschool Counselor is responsible for picking up children from their respective schools and bringing them to their 92NY Afterschool Clubhouse rooms (classrooms divided by grade). They will be responsible for the general safety, development and growth of the children as well as supporting them with their homework.  The counselor will provide quality educational and recreational experiences. Afterschool’s fall semester runs from September 11th- June 14th      Staff hours are from 2:20pm-6:20 pm. There will be mandatory staff training in advance of the start date as well as bi-monthly staff meetings after children are dismissed.

92NY’s Art Center offers a wide variety of afterschool and weekend visual art classes for children/teens ages 4 – 17. The Art Center welcomes over 300 children and teens each semester with classes led by Teaching Artists. The 92NY’s Art Center Teaching Assistant Program offers participants a hands-on classroom experience that provides tools and techniques for working in the field of visual art education. Classes run from September to January and then from January until mid June.

Year-round opportunities are available. This is a part-time position with no set hours as birthday party availability varies weekly. Seeking circus, gymnastics, parkour, dance and sports instructors.  Please note we are also seeking weekday instructors for classes.    Opportunities available Saturdays and Sunday (and Monday through Friday for classes). 92NY continually seeks to expand its roster of diverse Teaching Artists who are passionate about sharing their practice with learners at all stages of life and ability. Selected applicants will join a dynamic team of nearly 100 professional Artists who make art accessible to a diverse audience.   For over 90 years, 92NY’s Art Center has filled a critical space in New York’s cultural fabric, as well as in the global art community at large. Whether you’re 4 or 104 years old, an enthusiastic amateur or emerging professional, 92NY’s Art Center is where creative New Yorkers come together to get inspired and learn. The Art Center hosts nearly 200 classes a week, in person at 92nd Street or virtually in real time courses with students across the globe. Our courses are open to learners of all levels who are interested in learning how to make art. Weekly classes and workshops are led by professional Artist Educators in the areas of ceramics, jewelry and metalsmithing, drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, digital photography, design, art appreciation and STEAM.   Under the supervision of the Art Center's programming team, Teaching Artists propose course ideas, prepare course materials, and then lead students through high quality course objectives. Teaching Artists implement skill-based learning to inspire their students to innovate, think critically, express themselves, find joy in the process of making, and to help them achieve their learning goals.
